Contrary to the claims of Seemandhra leaders that they would succeed in stalling the process of bifurcation of the State, TRS chief K. Chandrasekhara Rao asserted that the Telangana Bill would be definitely passed in Parliament.
Talking to the media later after meeting BJP president Rajnath Singh at the latter’s house, KCR said the Telangana Bill would be approved in Parliament with the solid support of the BJP.
“We met BJP president Rajnath Singh at his residence and pleaded for his party’s support to the Telangana Bill. The BJP chief assured us of total support to T Bill. The BJP will extend total support for passage of the Bill. It would be definitely passed in Parliament”, KCR said.
The TRS supremo also expressed gratitude to the BJP leaders for promising total support to the Telangana Bill.
He profusely thanked Rajnath Singh for respecting the 60-year Telangana sentiment. He said Rajnath Singh patiently heard their appeal.
