In contrast, Vijay offers a different example. He showed that a leader can rise without relying heavily on money distribution, media influence, or a well-established cadre. Even while facing a strong opponent like DMK, he pursued a more independent path.
Unlike Pawan Kalyan, Vijay did not depend on major alliances or established political strategists. His approach highlights the importance of building a direct connection with people, maintaining clarity in vision, and projecting strong leadership without compromise.
The key takeaway for Pawan Kalyan is that limitations in money, media, or cadre do not necessarily prevent political success. A more independent and assertive strategy, along with consistent grassroots engagement, could help him establish himself as a stronger leader on his own terms.
Above all, what significantly helped Vijay was his well-organized fan associations spread across almost all regions of Tamil Nadu.
Over the years, he systematically nurtured them by giving members a formal identity through cards and encouraging them to organize and register region-wise.
This structured network became a strong foundation for his election campaign, helping with mobilization, coordination and organizing public meetings.
In contrast, Pawan Kalyan never replicated this successful model in a sustained and organized way. It is also worth noting that Allu Arjun has recently started building a similar organized fan base.
This could indicate a future interest in entering politics or at least leveraging that structured support system for larger ambitions.
