Hand over farm lands to govt, KCR urges NRIs

Hyderabad: The TRS government, which is finding it difficult to spot sufficient government and private land for its ambitious scheme of distributing three acres each to landless Dalit families in the state, has now begun appealing to Telangana NRIs and industrialists to sell their unused land to the government.

“I appeal to them to hand over their land to the government which in turn will distribute it to the dalit families,“ he said.

Stating that the land owners would get attractive compensation, he said, “I am not asking them to part with their land free-of-cost. The government will amply compensate.“
