In a new jibe targeted at the Telangana Chief Minister KCR, AP Chief Minister Chandra Babu Naidu has said that if not for Telugu Desam Party, KCR would have been tending sheep in Siddipet.

Babu was reacting to comments made by KCR who had questioned Babu’s interests in Hyderabad. What right does KCR have to ask that question countered a visibly irritated Chandra Babu.

Speaking at a public meeting in Kakinada, Babu said that KCR must realize where he would have been in life if not for the Telugu Desam Party.

If there are any differences between both the states, then the best way is to sit down and sort them out said Babu.

He further added that despite his many invitations to KCR to have meetings, KCR isn’t trying to make things easier he alleged.

While pointing out that both the Telugu speaking states were equally important for TDP, Chandra Babu pointed that it is KCR who had demanded that all properties be divided between both the states within a month’s time.

Babu added that AP was not looking for assets that were not mentioned under the Bifurcation Law, and in case of discrepencies, both states can ask Centre to intervene to resolve the matter, said Babu.

The Andhra Pradesh CM said that though the people of Seemandhra were not keen on separating, bifurcation happened and now it is their turn to show that they can survive and succeed.

Seemandhra people must make people who supported bifurcation envious with their growth and progress he said.
