Telangana Endowments and Forests Minister Konda Surekha was removed from the State cabinet on Thursday.
Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy decided to drop Surekha from the Council of Ministers with immediate effect. A recommendation to this effect has already been sent to the Governor.
The Chief Minister also decided to remove Dr G Chinna Reddy from the post of Vice-Chairman of the Telangana Planning Board with immediate effect.
Gadwal Vijayalakshmi has been appointed as the new Vice-Chairman of the Telangana Planning Board.
Revanth Reddy also approved the appointment of Nerella Sharada as Chairperson of the Telangana State Commission for Women.
Former Rajya Sabha MP G Sudha Rani has been appointed Chairperson of the Kakatiya Urban Development Authority (KUDA).
The decisions mark a significant reshuffle in key positions in the Telangana government.
