A 37-year-old software engineer from Khammam district died in the United States on Thursday, leaving his family in shock.
The deceased was identified as Mulakalapati Parthasarathy, a native of Kistapuram in Sathupalle mandal. He was working as a software engineer and living in North Carolina.
Parthasarathy, the son of Mulakapally Ravi and Lalitha, had moved to the US around 10 years ago in search of employment.
According to family members, they received information on Friday morning that Parthasarathy had suffered a cardiac arrest while asleep and died.
He is survived by his wife and two children.
His parents have appealed to the Telangana government to help make arrangements to bring his mortal remains back to India.
