A young man from Hyderabad died by suicide in the United States after reportedly struggling to find a job following the completion of his master’s degree.
The deceased has been identified as Sai Pradeep, a native of Srinivasa Nagar Colony in Dammaiguda, Hyderabad.
Sai Pradeep moved to the US in 2024 for higher studies and recently completed his master’s degree in San Antonio, Texas.
According to reports, he had been searching for a suitable job for nearly four months but was unable to secure one.
Family sources said the prolonged job search left him under severe stress and he went into depression.
Sai Pradeep reportedly died by suicide in his room on August 21.
The news has left his family and relatives in Hyderabad in deep shock.
The incident has once again highlighted the pressure faced by some international students in the US after graduation, particularly when they are unable to find employment within a limited period.
