The Telangana American Telugu Association recently hosted its three-day convention in Charlotte, North Carolina, bringing together members of the Telugu community through cultural programmes, entertainment and networking sessions.
The convention received a positive response for its smooth organisation, food arrangements and overall event planning.
The first two days witnessed good crowds and lively participation. On the opening day, Hyderabad-based Orange Street Band delivered a highly energetic performance, with attendees enjoying the music until midnight.
The second day’s performance by Threeory was also well received and added to the festive atmosphere.
The final day attracted an even larger crowd for the much-awaited musical concert by M M Keeravani, which was expected to be one of the biggest highlights of the convention.
However, the concert reportedly did not fully meet audience expectations.
According to feedback from several attendees, the song selection mainly featured older tracks and did not create the energetic mood many had hoped for.
Apart from the Keeravani programme, the convention was widely appreciated for its food, coordination and planning.
Many attendees felt that the arrangements were better than those at previous conventions and that the entire event proceeded smoothly.
Overall, the convention successfully brought the Telugu community together and offered three days of entertainment and cultural celebration.
