టాలీవుడ్ లో ఇప్పుడు ట్రెండ్ ఒకటే.. పెద్ద సినిమాలు. భారీ రేట్లు. హీరోల రెమ్యూనిరేషన్లు 70 నుంచి వంద కోట్లకు తీసుకెళ్లిపోయారు. సినిమా నిర్మాణ వ్యయం 200 కోట్ల నుంచి ఆరు వందల కోట్ల మధ్యలో వుంటోంది. దీంతో రికవరీ కోసం జనాల మీద పడుతున్నారు. ప్రభుత్వాల్ని పట్టుకోవడం టికెట్ రేట్లు తెచ్చుకోవడం. ప్రభుత్వం దగ్గర రికమెండేషన్ వాడడం, కింద స్థాయిలో కాస్త ఖర్చు చేయడం. దాంతో అదనపు ఆటులు, అదనపు రేట్లు.

గతంలో ఆంధ్రలో రేట్లు తగ్గిస్తే నానా గోల చేసారు. ప్రభుత్వం కక్ష సాధింపు అన్నారు. నైజాంలో తమ చిత్తానికి రేట్లు తెచ్చుకున్నారు. ఇప్పుడు ఏమయింది. నైజాంలో సినిమాలు మునిగిపోతున్నాయి. పెద్ద సినిమాలను పక్కన పెడితే చిన్న, మీడియం సినిమాలకు ఆ భారీ రేట్లు అంటే జనం థియేటర్ కేసి చూడడం లేదు.

ఆంధ్రలో కూడా రేట్లు తరచు మారుతున్నాయి. మెగాస్టార్ నుంచి మిగిలిన అందరు స్టార్ ల మీదుగా మెగా పవర్ స్టార్ వరకు ఎవరి సినిమా అయినా అదనపు రేట్లు లాగుతున్నారు. థియేటర్లకు రండి రండి అంటూ జనాలను పిలుస్తూనే, వాళ్లు థియేటర్ కు రాలేని పరిస్థితి తెస్తున్నారు. అదనపు రేట్ల వల్ల థియేటర్లకు ప్రయోజనం ఏమీ లేదు. వాళ్ల రెంట్లు మామూలే. ఈ అదనపు డబ్బులు అన్నీ నిర్మాతల మీదుగా హీరోలకు చేరుతున్నాయి.

తొలి రోజు ఇన్ని కోట్లు కొల్ల గొట్టింది.. అని కోట్లు వచ్చాయి అని చెప్పుకోవడానికి తప్ప ఉపయోగం లేదు. ఎందుకు ఉపయోగం లేదు అంటే, ఈ కలెక్షన్లు చూపించి హీరోలు తమ రెమ్యూనిరేషన్లు పెంచేస్తున్నారు. ఖర్చు పెరిగిపోతొంది. దాంతో ఆ రికవరీ కే సరిపోతోంది ఈ టికెట్ ఆదాయం అంతా. అదే కనుక సినిమా తేడా కొడితే నిర్మాత రోడ్డున పడిపోతారు. కానీ అప్పటికే హీరోలు, దర్శకులు తమ వసూళ్లు తాము చేసుకుంటారు.

కానీ రాను రాను జనంలో ఓ సెక్షన్ మాత్రం థియేటర్లకు దూరం అయిపోతున్నారు. కల్కి సినిమా విడుదల టైమ్ లో టికెట్ రేట్ల వ్యవహారం మళ్లీ మరోసారి తెరమీదకు వచ్చింది. రెండో రోజే సినిమా ఫుల్స్ అన్నవి యాభై శాతానికి లోపుకే పడిపోయాయి. ముఖ్యంగా ఆంధ్రలో. ప్రతి ఊరిలో ఒక్క థియేటర్ ఫుల్ కావడం కష్టం అయింది రెండో రోజునే. దీనికి బాధ్యత రేట్లదే అంటున్నారు ఫ్యాన్స్.

కానీ ఆంధ్రలో 90 కోట్ల మేరకు తీసుకున్న అడ్వాన్స్ లు రావాలంటే రేట్లు పెంచడం తప్పదు అన్నది నిర్మాతల ఆలోచన. ఆంధ్రలో 15 రోజుల పాటు రేట్లు పెంచేలా జీవో తెచ్చారు. మండే తరువాత పరిస్థితి చూసి ఈ రేట్ల జీవో వాడుకుంటారో లేదో చూడాలి. అలా వాడుకోకుంటే అది కాస్త అవమానంగా వుంటుంది కూడా.

త్వరలో దేవర, పుష్ప2, గేమ్ ఛేంజర్ సినిమాలు రాబోతున్నాయి. వీటి రేట్ల సంగతి ఎలా వుంటుందో చూడాలి మరి.

So you started blaming Pavan garu for some people who can’t control their urge to watch it on the first day it self despite ticket prices .. dear sir , there is choice for every one weather they wanna watch it on big screen , wait till prices to come down , wait for OTT release or simple download a pirated version of the movie on the same day of release .. it’s all up to the people why are you blaming one person when people cant control their urge , no one is forcing you to watch now it self you have all the options

  5. People can wait till it comes on OTT and watch it for free na. Only way to reduce ticket prices is to dub in all languages and also in English to attract foreign audience. After Hanuman, there are so many small budget movies without any increase in price, why public has not come to theatres to watch at lower prices. Producers have to spend 100s of crores to bring people to theatres only. If you want to blame, then it is public who are not encouraging small cinema. Let us not pretend that everyone has to watch a particular movie. In my child hood, it takes several months or years a new movie to come to a town touring talkies. We waited for our turn to watch. Now also people can wait.
